Created by John Rattray (skateboarder and advocate for mental health awareness), the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Why so Sad? (DX5549-400) is a physical promotion of John's Why So Sad? initiative to help open up the conversation about the impact of mental health challenges in skateboarding and elsewhere.
These inspiring sneakers feature a Light Blue leather base and mesh tongues paired with Dark Blue tear-away overlays to reveal yellow underneath. Other notable details include the embroidered skateboarding chicken motif on the lateral heel, the co-branded insoles with a graphic of a bird doing a sad grab, Why So Sad? branding on the inner tongue tag, and question marks embroidered on the heels.
